Right Window Inoperative, Left Window Operates Normally
- If only right window switch is operational, replace left window switch. If only left window switch is operational, check for poor connection at right window switch or open circuit in Brown wire to right window switch. If connection is okay, replace right window switch.
- If neither switch is operational, turn ignition switch to RUN position. Backprobe right window motor with a test light between terminal "B" (Brown wire) and ground. Press left window switch to DOWN position. If test light illuminates, go step 4). If test light does not illuminate, backprobe right window switch with a test light from terminal "F" (Tan wire) to ground and go to next step.
- If test light does not illuminate, check for poor connection at left window switch, open or short to ground in Tan wire, or short to ground in Brown wire. If connections are okay, replace left window switch. If test light illuminates, check for poor connection at right window switch, or open in Brown wire. If connection is okay, replace right window switch.
- Backprobe right window motor with a test light between terminal "A" (Dark Blue wire) and ground. Press left window switch to UP position. If test light illuminates, check for poor connections at right window motor. If connections are okay, replace right window motor and go to next step.
- If test light does not illuminate, backprobe right window switch with a test light from terminal "B" (Light Blue wire) to ground. Press left window switch to UP position. If test light does not illuminate, check for poor connection at left window switch, open or short to ground in Light Blue wire, or short to ground in Dark Blue wire. If connections are okay, replace left window switch.
- If test light illuminates, check for poor connection at right window switch or open in Dark Blue wire. If connection is okay, replace right window switch.
