Vehicle Speed Sensor: Installation

  1. Install the vehicle speed sensor (1) with a new O-ring seal (3). See Figure . Install the vehicle speed sensor bolt (2). Tighten the vehicle speed sensor bolt (2) to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Connect the vehicle speed sensor electrical connector. See Figure . Lower the vehicle. Check transmission fluid, add as required. See CHECKING FLUID LEVELS  under LUBRICATION.
