Test 1: All Windows Inoperative
- Ensure no Body Control Module (BCM) Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are stored. See appropriate BODY CONTROL MODULES article. Repair as necessary. If no DTCs exist, go to next step.
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using a test light, backprobe between ground and master switch assembly connector terminal "F" (Brown wire). If test light illuminates, go to step 4 . If test light does not illuminate, go to next step.
- If connection is okay, repair open in Brown wire between power window circuit breaker (30-amp) and master switch assembly connector terminal "F". See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Connect a test light between master switch assembly connector terminals "F" (Brown wire) and "A" (Black wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 6 .
- Check for poor connection at master switch assembly. If connection is okay, replace master switch assembly. See WINDOW SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Repair open in Black wire between master switch assembly and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
