Automatic Transaxle Diagnosis - 4T65-E: Identification: Notes
Transaxle has a metal identification plate or Service Replacement Transmission Assembly (SRTA) plate attached to rear face of transaxle. See Fig 1 . Transaxle RPO codes are M15 or M76. The M15 model has a 9.6" (245 mm) torque converter. The M76 model is used in All Wheel Drive (AWD) applications.
