Class 2 Serial Data Circuit
The class 2 serial data circuit is a Purple wire connected between Data Link Connector (DLC) terminal No. 2 and following modules:
- Body control module.
- Electronic brake control module.
- Instrument panel cluster.
- Powertrain control module.
- Inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module.
- Theft deterrent control module.
- Radio.
- Auxiliary power drop connector.
- Head up display.
The class 2 serial data circuit allows these modules to communicate with each other and with scan tool for diagnostic and testing purposes.
