Radio Setup

Radio Setup will configure following systems: Steering wheel controls. Learn VIN. Radio DTCs. Class 2 serial data radio messages.

The radio setup procedure will also clear following messages:

• CAL.
• CAL ERROR.
• CALIBRATE.

To properly setup the DE 100 series radio, complete following procedure using a scan tool.

1. Using scan tool, at main menu screen, select DIAGNOSTICS function.
2. At vehicle identification screen, select following options:
   • 2001 model year.
   • B platform.
3. At system selection menu screen, select BODY.
4. At body screen, select RADIO.
5. At radio screen, select SPECIAL FUNCTIONS.
6. At special functions screen, select RADIO SETUP.
7. At radio setup screen, select ENTER.
8. After scan tool displays TEST COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY, press EXIT.
9. Cycle ignition switch.

Without learning the VIN, radio will display a locked message and will be inoperative.
