Body Control Module: Removal

NOTE: When replacing the Body Control Module (BCM) BCM setup must be performed. See BODY CONTROL MODULE PROGRAMMING - REGULAR PRODUCTION OPTION CONFIGURATION  under PROGRAMMING.
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Remove center console electrical center. See CENTER CONSOLE ELECTRICAL CENTER REPLACEMENT .
  3. Rotate BCM retaining lever (2) to release BCM from center console fuse block. See Figure.
  4. Remove BCM (1) from center console fuse block.
