Theft Deterrent Control Module: Installation
- Push theft deterrent module (2), onto lock cylinder housing (1). See Fig 1.
- Install theft deterrent wiring harness to steering column harness.
- Connect harness connector.
- Replace steering column trim covers.
- Enable air bag system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article.
- Program new theft control module. See PROGRAMMING THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM COMPONENTS under PROGRAMMING.
