Door Trim Panel: Installation

NOTE: Before installing front door trim panel to front door inner panel, the old trim panel retainers MUST be discarded and replaced with NEW trim panel retainers.
  1. Install new trim panel retainers to front door trim panel.
  2. Route harness connectors to front door trim panel.
  3. Install power mirror switch.
  4. Align front door trim panel to front door inner panel, guiding front door handle through trim panel.
  5. Install upper edge of front door trim panel to top edge of the door panel, pressing down firmly until front door trim panel is fully seated.
  6. Install front door trim panel by firmly pressing retainer clips until clips are fully seated around perimeter of front door trim panel.
  7. Install screws to front door trim panel. Tighten front door trim panel screws to 18 INCH lbs. (2 N.m).
  8. Install power window switch.
