Code Enable Criteria

Conditions for running DTC:

• DTC will only run once per ignition cycle within enabling conditions. DTCs P0112, P0113, P0117, P0118, P1111, P1112, P1114 or P1115 is not set.
• Coolant temperature is greater than -40°F (-40°C).
• Coolant temperature is less than 172°F (78°C).
• Air temperature is greater than 19°F (-7°C).
• Engine has been running more than 2 minutes, but less than 30 minutes.
• Vehicle speed is greater 15 MPH for more than one mile.
• Mass airflow average reading is more than 15 grams/second.

Conditions for setting DTC:

• The time for engine coolant to reach a preset temperature has been exceeded.
