Test B: Power Windows Inoperative Express Down Function

  1. If door system diagnostic systems check has been performed, go to next step. If door system diagnostic systems check has not been performed, go to DOOR SYSTEMS DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS.
  2. Operate power window system. If power windows do not operate normally, go to next step. If power windows operate normally, window concern may be intermittent. For aid in diagnosing intermittent problems, see PROBLEM DIAGNOSIS  under INTERMITTENTS.
  3. Replace master window switch. See MASTER WINDOW SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repairs are made, go to next step.
  4. Check power window system for proper operation. If system operates properly, test is complete. If system does not operate properly, go to step  2 .
