WARNING: Do not strike or jolt the inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module (SDM). Before applying power to the SDM, make sure that it is securely fastened with the arrow facing toward the front of the vehicle. Failure to observe the correct installation procedure could cause SIR deployment, personal injury, or unnecessary SIR system repairs. WARNING: Refer to SIR Warning . Preliminary Procedures Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling . Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .
1	Inflatable Restraint Sensor and Diagnostic Module Nut (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Inflatable Restraint Sensor and Diagnostic Module Assembly Procedure Position the carpet in order to access the sensor. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Procedure

Position the carpet in order to access the sensor.
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
