Floor Shift Control: Installation

  1. Install the shift control. Install the shift control nuts. See Fig 2. Tighten the nuts to 89 INCH lbs. (10 N.m). Install the shift cable to the shift control. See Fig 1.
  2. Install the shift control wire harness to the shift control. Adjust the shift control cable as necessary. See SHIFT CABLE  under ADJUSTMENTS.
  3. Install the console trim plate. See FLOOR CONSOLE TRIM PLATE .
