Removal Procedure

Remove the upper trim pad. Refer to TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT -- INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) UPPER (AZTEK) or TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT -- INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) UPPER (RENDEZVOUS) .
Disconnect the remote control door lock receiver electrical connector (1).
Important: Disengage the remote control door lock receiver retainers and lift upward.
Remove the remote control door lock receiver (2) from the defroster air duct.
