Removal Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

Remove wiper module refer to WIPER MOTOR MODULE REPLACEMENT .
Remove the upper strut mounting nuts.
Important: Lift the vehicle using ONLY a frame-contact vehicle lift. Do NOT lift the vehicle using a suspension-contact vehicle lift.
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE .
Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

Scribe the strut to the steering knuckle.

Remove the strut lower mounting bolts and nuts.
Remove the strut.
