Installation Procedure

Important: Position the remote control door lock receiver to the defroster air duct.
- Install the remote control door lock receiver (2).
- Engage the remote control door lock receiver retainers.
- Connect the remote control door lock receiver electrical connector (1).
- Install the upper trim pad. Refer to TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT -- INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) UPPER (AZTEK) or TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT -- INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) UPPER (RENDEZVOUS) .
- If a new remote control door lock receiver is being installed, program the transmitter. Refer to TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING .
