Gm Oil Life System

Follow this procedure to reset the GM Oil Life System ™:

  1. Turn the ignition switch to RUN position, with the engine off.
  2. Press the TRIP/OIL RESET button located on the instrument panel for 12 seconds.
  3. The OIL CHANGE light will start to flash to confirm that the system is reset.
  4. The reset is complete when the OIL CHANGE light goes out.
