.
- Connect passenger's power window switch harness connector. Disconnect passenger's power window motor 2-pin harness connector. Connect a test light between passenger's power window motor harness connector terminals. Observe test light while pressing driver's power window switch for passenger's side window UP and DOWN positions. If test light does not illuminate in either position, go to next step. If test light illuminates in both positions, go to step 22
.
- Inspect Dark Blue wire and Brown wire for an open or short to ground between ground and passenger's power window motor harness connector. If an open or short to ground is not found, go to step 20
. If an open or short to ground is found, repair as necessary then go to step 30
.
- Using driver's power window switch, operate passenger's side window. If passenger's power window operates, go to next step. If passenger's power window does not operate, go to step 18
.
- Disconnect power window control module 5-pin harness connector. Power window control module is located mounted to center of dash mat, above floor tunnel. See Figure
. Connect a test light between ground and power window control module harness connector terminal "A" (Dark Blue wire). See Fig 1
. Observe test light while pressing driver's power window switch for driver's window to UP position. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 14
.
