Installation Procedure

Important:  Position the remote control door lock receiver to the defroster air duct.

1. Install the remote control door lock receiver (2).
2. Engage the remote control door lock receiver retainers.
3. Connect the remote control door lock receiver electrical connector (1).
4. Install the upper trim pad. Refer to TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT -- INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) UPPER (AZTEK) or TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT -- INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) UPPER (RENDEZVOUS) .
5. If a new remote control door lock receiver is being installed, program the transmitter. Refer to TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING  .
