Installation Procedure

  1. Install the cooler pipe.
  2. Install the cooler pipe retaining screws and brackets.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (89 Ib. in).

  3. Install the low pressure hose to the cooler pipe.
  4. Install the cooler pipe low pressure line to the power steering gear.

    Torque 

    Torque to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).

  5. Install the engine splash shield. Refer to SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT -- ENGINE .
  6. Lower the vehicle.
