Checking Fluid Levels

To get an accurate reading, vehicle should be on level surface. Remove fill plug (2). See Figure . If the level is below bottom of fill plug hole, add appropriate lubricant. See RECOMMENDED FLUIDS  . Add enough lubricant to raise level to bottom of fill plug hole.
