Content Theft Deterrent Programming

Enter Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) programming by turning ignition switch to RUN position and placing vehicle transmission in Park. Using another key, insert key into any door lock cylinder. Rotate key to UNLOCK position and hold. Press PANIC button on Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter. Number of chimes determines current mode. Press PANIC button again to advance to next mode. Continue to press PANIC button to reach desired mode. CTD modes are as follows:
- Mode 1 disables CTD arming.
- Mode 2 arms and disarms CTD when vehicle is locked and unlocked using RKE transmitter.
- Mode 3 arms and disarms CTD when vehicle is locked and unlocked using RKE transmitter or power door lock switches.
Remove key from door lock cylinder. Programming sequence will be terminated if ignition switch is moved from RUN position or if vehicle is shifted out of Park.
