System Operation Check

- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Ensure all doors are locked. Press transmitter UNLOCK button once. Interior lights should come on for about 20 seconds. Driver door should unlock. Theft deterrent system should disarm.
- Ensure all doors are locked. Press transmitter UNLOCK button twice within 5 seconds. Interior lights come on for 20 seconds, all doors should unlock and theft deterrent system should disarm. Press transmitter LOCK button. All doors should lock. Press transmitter LOCK button again within 5 seconds and theft deterrent system should arm. Press transmitter LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT button. Luggage compartment lid should release.
- Press transmitter UNLOCK button and turn ignition switch to RUN position within 20 seconds. Interior lights should go out when ignition switch is turned to RUN position. If RKE system does not operate as described, perform self-diagnostics. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM .
