Installation Procedure

Install the power steering pressure pipe (4) to the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
Install the power steering pressure pipe (4) to the power steering pump (1). Tighten the fitting to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
Install the bolt (2) to the power steering pressure pipe bracket (3). Tighten the bolt to 26 N.m (19 lb ft).
Install the power steering pressure hose (3) to the power steering pressure pipe (4). Refer to Power Steering Pressure Pipe/Hose Replacement (2.2L (L61) and 2.4L (LD9)) . Tighten the fitting to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).

Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding the Power Steering System .
