Diagnostic System Check - Engine Controls: Notes

NOTE: Check for applicable Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) before proceeding. DO NOT perform the following procedure if driveability conditions are not present unless directed from another procedure. DO NOT clear DTCs unless instructed by a diagnostic procedure. If there is a condition with the starting system, refer to appropriate GENERATORS & REGULATORS article in STARTING & CHARGING SYSTEMS. Ensure battery is fully charged. Ensure battery cables are clean and tight. Ensure Powertrain Control Module (PCM) grounds are clean, tight, and in the proper location.
