Installation Procedure

  1. Install the catalytic converter seal.
    2. Fig 2: Identifying Catalytic Converter Nuts

  2. Install the catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold.
  3. Connect the catalytic converter to the catalytic converter hangers.
  4. Remove the utility stand.
    5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the catalytic converter nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the catalytic converter nuts to 34 N.m (25 lb ft).

  6. Install the oxygen sensor electrical connector.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
