Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel trim plate bezel. Refer to Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (Impala) or Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (Monte Carlo) in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  2. Remove the retaining screws from the HVAC control module.

  4. Pull the HVAC control module out from the instrument panel.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the HVAC control module.

  7. Remove the HVAC control module from the instrument panel.
