Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: View Of Steering Gear Heat Shield & Mounting Bolts

  1. Install the steering gear heat shield.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the steering gear heat shield bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the steering gear heat shield bolts to 14 N.m (124 lb in).

  3. Lower the vehicle.
