Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
    Fig 1: Identifying Knock Sensors

  1. Install the knock sensor.

    Tighten:  Tighten the knock sensor to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

    2. Fig 2: Knock Sensor Wiring Harness Assembly

  2. Install the wiring harness assembly for the knock sensor.
  3. Install the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement in Engine Mechanical-5.7L.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
