Installation Procedure

  1. Install the new fuel tank pressure sensor (7) to the fuel sender assembly (1).

  2. Connect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector.
  3. Install the fuel sender access panel.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the fuel sender access panel nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Floor Trim Plate Replacement - Rear in Body Rear End.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
