Installation Procedure

Position the power steering pressure pipe (4) to the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Connect the power steering pressure pipe (4) to the power steering pump (1).
Tighten: Tighten the fitting to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
Install the bolt (2) to the power steering pressure pipe bracket (3).
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 26 N.m (19 lb ft).
Connect the power steering pressure hose (3) to the power steering pressure pipe (4).
Tighten: Tighten the fitting to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).

Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding the Power Steering System .
