Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying TP Sensor O-Ring

  1. Install the TP sensor O-ring on the TP sensor.

  3. Install the TP sensor on the throttle body assembly.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the 2 TP sensor fasteners, using a thread-locking compound on the screws. Loctite® 262, GM P/N #1052624, or equivalent should be used.

    Tighten:  Tighten the TP sensor attaching screws to 2.0 N.m (18 lb in).

  7. Connect the TP sensor electrical connector.
  8. Connect the EVAP purge line.
  9. Connect the fuel lines. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Metal Collar) .

  11. Install the air intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Intake Duct Replacement .
