Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left instrument panel sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
  2. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal.
  3. Remove the fasteners holding the accelerator pedal to the bulk head.
  4. Remove the accelerator pedal.
