Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the throttle control cable bracket from the throttle body. Refer to Accelerator Controls Cable Bracket Replacement .
  2. Remove the canister purge solenoid valve. Refer to Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement .

  4. Disconnect the idle air control (IAC) electrical connector.

  6. Remove the idle air control valve attaching screws.

  10. Remove the idle air control valve O-ring.
