Installation Procedure

  1. Install the quarter window (2) to the body opening.
  2. Install nine new quarter window nuts (1) to the quarter window (2).
    IMPORTANT: Leave the nuts loose until the roof drip molding is installed.
  3. Install the roof drip molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Body Side Roof Drip in Exterior Trim.
    4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Position the quarter window assembly (2) with the quarter nuts (1) installed.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nine new quarter window nuts to 2 N.m (17 lb in).

  5. Install the center pillar outer applique. Refer to Applique Replacement - Center Pillar Outer in Exterior Trim.
  6. Install the quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Upper in Interior Trim.
  7. Install the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Center Pillar in Interior Trim.
  8. Install the lower quarter panel trim. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter in Interior Trim.
  9. Install side sill trim plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement in Interior Trim.
  10. Install the door opening weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Door Opening in Doors.
