Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Air Cleaner Lower Housing

  1. Install the air cleaner lower housing by firmly pushing the housing down into the 2 rubber grommets.
  2. Install the PCM into the air cleaner lower housing.

  3. Install the front tabs of the air cleaner upper housing into the slots in the air cleaner lower housing.
  4. Align the holes in the upper housing to the integral bolts in the lower housing.
    5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  5. Tighten the air cleaner housing bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  6. Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Intake Duct Replacement .
  7. Install the left inner fender brace. Refer to Brace Replacement - Front Fender Upper Diagonal .
