Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (L26) or Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (L32) in Engine Mechanical - 3.8L.
  2. Disconnect the boost source signal hose (3) from the boost control solenoid (4).
  3. Disconnect the boost control solenoid electrical connector.
  4. Remove the boost control solenoid nut (1).
  5. Remove the boost control solenoid (4).
