Installation Procedure
- Position the NEW fuel sender O-ring seal onto the fuel tank.
- Install the fuel sender into the fuel tank. Ensure that the align tab is in the proper location.
- Push down the fuel sender and position the lock ring onto the fuel tank.
- Rotate the lock ring clockwise using the J 45722 until fully seated.
- Connect the fuel line to the sender. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Metal Collar) .
- Connect the EVAP lines to the sender. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
- Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
IMPORTANT:
Do not allow the tool to come in contact with the male pipe ends while locking the lock ring.
