Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Right Knock Sensor

  1. Position the knock sensor.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the knock sensor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  3. Connect the knock sensor electrical connector (2).
  4. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26 and L32) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (LS4) .
