Preliminary Procedures: Remove rear fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .
1	Rear Object Sensor Tip: Do not refinish previously painted sensors. Press tab to release the sensor from the retainer. Disconnect the electrical connector. Paint the new rear object sensor. Refer to Basecoat/Clearcoat Paint Systems . Using a paint thickness gage suitable for non-ferrous metals, ensure paint thickness does not exceed 6 mils. Refer to Paint Gages .
