Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying Wheel Speed Sensor Wiring Harness Mounting Clips & Rear Suspension Subframe

    CAUTION: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution .
    CAUTION: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution .
    CAUTION: Refer to Brake Dust Caution .
    IMPORTANT: Make sure the routing of the wheel speed sensor jumper harness (3) is routed in its original location.
  1. Install the wheel speed sensor jumper harness (3) to the vehicle.
  2. Attach the wheel speed sensor wiring harness mounting clips (1) to the rear suspension subframe (2).

  3. Attach the wheel speed sensor wiring harness mounting clip (1).

  4. Connect the left rear and right rear wheel speed sensor electrical connectors (1).
  5. Attach the wheel speed sensor wiring harness mounting clip (2) to the left rear and right rear knuckles (3).

  6. Attach the electrical connector (1) to the right hand rail (2).
  7. Connect the wheel speed sensor jumper harness electrical connector (1).
  8. Install the rear wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  9. Lower the vehicle.
  10. Use the scan tool in order to clear any DTCs.
  11. Perform the System Check-Vehicle. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .
