HVAC Control Module Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) center trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the HVAC control module screws.




3. Remove the HVAC control module.
4. Remove the HVAC control module wire harness connectors.

Installation Procedure

Note: The key should be in the OFF position when connecting the electrical connectors to ensure proper calibration.

1. Install the HVAC control module wire harness connectors.




2. Install the HVAC control module.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Tighten the HVAC control module screws.

Tighten the screws to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).

4. Install the I/P center trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
5. Calibrate the actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration (Programming and Relearning).
6. Refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning) for programming and setup information.
