Removal Procedure
- Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
- Remove the primary fuel tank module assembly from the fuel tank. Refer to Primary Fuel Tank Module Replacement .
- Disconnect the fuel level sensor connector (4) and unclip the wiring from the harness securing clips (5).
- Remove the fuel level sensor from the primary fuel tank module assembly.
- Unlock the locking clip (3) and gently push the fuel level sensor upwards.
- Remove the fuel level sensor from the primary fuel tank module assembly.
WARNING:
To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.
