Removal Procedure

    WARNING: Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .
  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
  3. Remove the upper intake manifold. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Replacement .
    4. Fig 1: Identifying Ignition Coil To Camshaft Cover Retaining Bolts

  4. Remove the ignition coil harness connector from the ignition coil.
  5. Remove the ignition coil to camshaft cover retaining bolts (1).
  6. Remove the ignition coils (2) from the vehicle.
