Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying Knock Sensor (KS) Electrical Connector & Retaining Bolt

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  1. Install the KS (3) to engine block retaining bolt (2) and tighten to 23 N.m (17 lb ft).
    2. Fig 2: Identifying Knock Sensor (KS) Electrical Connector & Retaining Bolt

  2. Install the knock sensor (KS) electrical (1) connector to the KS (2).
  3. Lower the vehicle.
