Removal Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying MAF Harness Connector

  1. Ignition OFF.
  2. Remove the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
  3. Remove the mass air flow (MAF) harness connector (2) from the MAF sensor.
  4. Remove the MAF sensor air box retaining clamps (1).

  6. Remove the MAF sensor to air box retaining screws (1).

  8. Remove the MAF sensor seal and discard the seal.
