Installation Procedure

Carefully clean the throttle body mounting surfaces of any gasket and/or sealing material.

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the throttle body bolts to upper intake manifold retaining bolts (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the throttle body electrical connector (1) to the throttle body.
Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
Perform the throttle learn procedure. Refer to Throttle Learn .
Use the scan tool to clear all DTCs.
