Installation Procedure

Install the child seat anchor assembly to the rear window shelf.

CAUTION: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

NOTE: Ensure child restraint assembly is installed as per illustration, failure to adhere to this installation will result in incorrect operation of the child restraint assembly.

NOTE: Ensure that the anchor fitting is parallel to the vehicle centerline.

Install the child seat anchor assembly to body retaining bolt (2) and tighten to 20 N.m (22 lb ft).
Close the child seat anchor assembly cap (1).
