Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: View Of MAF Sensor Electrical Connector

  2. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.

  3. Remove the air cleaner assembly bolt (2).
  4. Remove the air cleaner assembly (1).
  5. If replacing the air cleaner assembly, remove the MAF sensor. Refer to Mass Airflow Sensor Replacement .
