Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Always install new injector O-rings when servicing the fuel injectors. Lubricate the new injector O-rings with clean engine oil.
  1. Install the O-rings on the fuel injector (4, 7).
  2. Install the fuel injector clip (3) on the fuel injector (5).
    3. IMPORTANT: The fuel injector will click when the injector is installed correctly.
  3. Install the fuel injector in the fuel rail with the connector facing upward.
  4. Connect the fuel injector harness electrical connector(s) to the fuel injector(s).
  5. Install the fuel rail. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement .
